£25,000 - £28,000 DOE




This is an exciting opportunity to join a local charity, that champions and leads in education within food, farming and a sustainable environment. Responsible for managing the operations of a prestigious events venue within a prime location, our client has been a pinnacle within the community for more than 125 years.


The key function of this role is to support the Sales and Marketing Manager to deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns for the organisation, it’s venue, events and overall promotion and execution of the marketing plan.




  • Working with the Sales and Marketing Manager to execute the overall marketing plan
  • Promote the organisation and its venue as the premier event venue for a wide range of indoor and outdoor events
  • Deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns that are on time and to budget
  • Copywriting and producing a range of online content and printed literature
  • Maintain and update information on the websites using a CMS system and monitoring statistics
  • Delivering content through our social media channels (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn), optimising reach and engagement
  • Executing paid online marketing campaigns (Google, Facebook & LinkedIn ads)
  • Monitoring and reporting on digital marketing campaigns
  • Working with our PR agency on press releases and event campaigns
  • Working with our design company to produce artwork
  • Creating targeted email campaigns including monthly e-newsletters and ad hoc e-shots
  • Organising photography and videography with external contractors
  • Managing the online ticketing platform for events
  • Liaising with printers to produce a range of printed literature and outdoor signage
  • Maintaining and updating customer databases
  • Conduct market research such as post-event feedback & surveys
  • Oversee the marketing budget with support from the Sales and Marketing Manager
  • Evaluate and review marketing campaigns and advertising
  • Actively source internal news, press releases and topical content from external sources to produce a year-round series of engaging blog posts




  • Experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of email marketing platforms such as Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp
  • Basic design/editing skills using Adobe Photoshop, Canva or similar
  • Knowledge of social media scheduling tools
  • Experience of managing websites using a CMS
  • Experience in creating Facebook & Google adverts
  • Experience within the events industry is desirable
